It's more than just a box of toys
“The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child's own natural desire to learn.” -Maria Montessori
"The child seeks for independence by means of work; an independence of body and mind. Little he cares about the knowledge of others; he wants to acquire a knowledge of his own, to have experience of the world, and to perceive it by his own unaided efforts." -Maria Montessori
We fill each funbox with safe, sustainable and certified products made for you and your baby, perfect for making memories, reaching milestones, most of all having fun.
"We received our funbox today and our little one already loves her black and white book. Can't wait to introduce her to the rest of the books and toys.
Really love the concept. Thank you for putting it together! As first time parents we also appreciated the notes about how to use the toys. I will definitely recommend your website to my fellow parent friends."
"Best idea ever! rent a box with games for your little ones!! We love the concept so I decided to try and I'm so happy and also my two monsters."
"Parenting made fun has created beautiful Montessori inspired boxes. Sweet pea loves playing with the performance box from the "rent a funbox".
"Books are really good. My kid has started speaking few words. Even my friend's son was liking it very much. Thank you so much"
Just like you, we are eager to entertain & interact with our baby as we find more and more ways to play and bond, as they grow.
There are phases where they literally eat everything they can touch & grab — that definitely goes for toys! Searching for non-toxic, safe & sustainable materials was not an easy task & when we did...Voila!
Why not make life a little easier for us (Parents) and give you a one-stop-shop for your baby’s play essentials.
Priscilla, David, and Dylan
Parents, just like you.
Priscilla comes from an early childhood education background, experienced working with mini-humans from ages 0-6 years of age.
Seeing all the different phases and the “highs & lows” that come with their age, what interests them, what keeps them engaged, how to use their short but cute attention span, & of course how to handle the occasional meltdown are part of ‘business as usual’.
This comes with tracking & celebrating ‘Milestones’ for their motor, language and cognitive development (ex. Pincer Grasp, Recognition, Communication, Vocabulary) as they grow & what a joy it is to be a part of that journey.
Your attention, time, love and care are and will always be the main ingredients for these developments, but some tools can make it a lot easier and FUN!
David comes from a mix of Music and Computers (Drums & Network engrg.) and is basically just in charge of the techy stuff on this site & of course is head of the Play Department here at home.
Dylan is the baby, such a cutie-patootie.
Together, Let’s make parenting fun!
Priscilla, David & Dylan.
